With financial backing from the “mother church,” Glen Acres dedicated their first building, in June of 1956.  Land was gifted by one of the founding members.  The sanctuary was dedicated in March 1959.  Building again took place in 1976 when the gymnasium and kitchen facilities were added to complete what is now known as the Fellowship Hall.  Despite extensive renovation in 1994, much of the original sanctuary structure remains.  The church is beautified by eight memorial stained glass windows that have been given in memory of loved ones.

Each week both the Fellowship Hall and the Sanctuary building are used by numerous church and community organizations.  In particular, we are sharing our Fellowship Hall with a drop-in centre for Youth for Christ (YFC).  If you would like to inquire about use of the facility, please contact the church office using the form below.
