Senior Pastor

Rev. Melissa Memmott desires for people of all ages to experience the love of God, the grace of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. She lives to worship God, longs to live with integrity, and is learning to lead boldly. Her mission statement is to passionately love God with her whole life and compassionately love her neighbours. She faithfully sets to the task of discovering God’s Truth, learning to apply it to her life, and sharing it in faith conversations. Upon a completion of a Bachelor of Arts with a combined honours in Linguistics and English from McMaster University (2008), Melissa pursued further graduate work completing Graduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics (2009), a Master of Applied Linguistics and Exegesis (2010, CanIL) and a Master of Divinity (2013) from ACTS Seminaries, Canadian Baptist Seminary. Melissa was ordained in 2016 at St. George Baptist Church (CBOQ) in St. George, Ontario, and has pastored in the Brant County area for the last 10 years.

Melissa lives in Paris with her husband Greg and their five children. She enjoys road trips with her family, discovering new parks, coffeehouses, and beaches.
